Study of vilt-resistance of a cotton variety at a state variety testing station

To identify wilt-resistance of variety samples were brought from different ecological zones of a State Variety Testing Station, we grew them in special vegetative pots. In the phase of 3--4 real leaves they were inaculated in stalks with 1 ml Verticillium of concentration of 3 X 10~6 spores. On the basis of the data obtained it was determined that the most wilt-resistant variety is Andijan-31; Andijan-29, Andijan-2 and Armugen were also resistant.
