Identification of nodule bacteria with the use of bacteriophages, lysing different kind of Rhizobium

Six phages isolated are tested on their lytic action. It has been shown that bacteriophages are different in their activity in comparison with the studied strains of Rhizobium bacteria. The strains of the bacteria are of different character in relation to phage sensibility. Thus, four of the 45 tested strains were sensible to homological phages. Most of the studied strains of arachis and peanut were sensible to phages of R. galegaea, R. meliloti, R. leguminosarum.
