摘要

Changes in the botanical composition of plant communities of mine spoil in Yakutia are tabulated for over 20 years of plant succession. Early colonization in NW Yakutia was characterized by Chenopodium album, Chamerion angustifolium [Chamaenerion angustifolium] and Arabis pendula, followed by colonization of grasses and other forbs tolerant of the conditions, followed by more mesic species and finally woody plants including Salix viminalis, Betula fruticosa and Larix gmelinii. Colonization in S. Yakutia (a more favourable site) was characterized by 8 initial species, including grasses and Trifolium repens, followed by more grasses, legumes and forbs and a wider range of woody plants.
