Prices may go up in Q3

Ukrainian producers of galvanized products have kept prices unchanged in May on stronger domestic demand. Increased activity in the construction sector as well as replenishment of stocks aimed at ensuring operations during the first half of May boosted apparent consumption of galvanized products by 6% m-o-m in April, to 30,000 t. Imports declined by 26% to 13,000 t in April, which was substantially compensated for by a 56% increase in shipments from domestic producers (17,000 t).
