Prices to start falling in December

In November, Russian producers have kept domestic prices for galvanized steel products unchanged. Although demand has started to weaken, orders left from the previous months has determined sufficient capacity utilization. Demand for galvanized steel products begins to get weaker in the Russian market: apparent consumption dropped by 3% to 261,000 t in October. In November-December, buying is estimated to keep on slowing down and mills. sales will decline by some 5-10% per month.
