Prices may grow in February

Domestic prices for HR flats are 5% lower in December. Suppliers have had to revise quotations due to larger difference between domestic and export prices and decreased buying activity in the market. At the beginning of the negotiations between mills and traders on December supplies, the gap between HRC domestic and export prices amounted to $35-60/t due to a $60-70/t drop of the latter, to $590/t FOB Black Sea.
