Mills. prices to stay unchanged in autumn

Russian producers have not revised domestic prices in August, which is attributable to a lack of strong support in the export market and tough competition in the domestic one. Consumers do not buy much in the global market. Russian mills have closed sales of August production of HR coils at $685-695/t FOB Black Sea, which is $5-10/t lower than July contract price range. CIS suppliers will sell September output at higher prices and fill order books with a $10-20/t increase. Thus, export quotations will almost reach current domestic prices . some $655-670/t (EXW, excluding VAT).
