Domestic quotations to go down by year end

In October, Russian suppliers have not changed domestic prices for galvanized steel products due to weaker demand primarily. The Russian home market is drifting into the off-season when demand for the goods offered by rerollers of coated steel products usually wanes. In November, coated steel product buying by traders and rerollers is estimated to decline by 5-7%. Demand for steel products will plunge to a minimum in December- January in the market after losing another 10-15%.
