摘要

Three to six apple varieties stored for 35-50 days at 0.5鳦 after harvest were fumigated with methyl bromide, phosphine and methyl isothiocyanate to confirm the phytotoxicity. No injury was observed on Ohrin, Kinsei, Jonagold, Mutsu and Fuji at a dose of 48 g/m3 of methyl bromide for 2 h at 10鳦 and Ohrin, Kinsei and Fuji at a dose of 3 g/m3 of phosphine for 18 to 24 h at 15鳦. Small brown spots on the pulp of Sekaiichi with methyl bromide alone and severe damages with brown coloured skin and pulpof Ohrin, Kinsei and Fuji at 4-8 g/m3 of methyl isothiocyanate for 24 h at 15鳦 were observed, respectively.
