Mills have left domestic prices for 57-159 mm seamless pipes made to GOST 8732(31) unchanged in August. The key consumer of high value-added seamless pipes, the oil and gas sector of Russia, keeps showing high results. Gas production grew by 5.2% y-o-y, to 397 bln cu m in January-July. Higher production volumes are attributed to the increase in demand for gas in the domestic and foreign markets.
