Mills’ prices may increase in September

Producers have kept domestic prices for 57-159 mm HR seamless pipes made to GOST 8732(31) at the previous level in August. Although the domestic market is rather weak, mills are able to keep production relatively high thanks to steady demand in foreign markets. Interpipe raised seamless pipe output to 64,000 t in July (up 3% m-o-m), and production will likely keep growing this month. Dnipropetrovsk Pipe is also planning to increase pipe output by 40% to 12,000 t, in case of stable round billet supply.
