摘要

The model representations of compaction process are considered for the classified kinds of light metal wastes of the class,《ring》 and《tube element》; critical loads giving rise to occurrence of plastic hinge are determined for above-mentioned kinds of metal waste. The numerical data on critical loads are in a good agreement within a large range of nominal forces of the most commonly used hydraulic packeting presses. Recommendations are given which can be taken into account when designing press machines with minimum energy and mass characteristics.
