The information on volumes of underground cavities, landslides of boards of deep opencasts and dumps, filling of storehouses of slime and slate of their dams in a series of mining regions of Ukraine is submitted. Is established, that now there is a hazard of technogenous catastrophes. The concept of the comprehensive approach to a decrease of technogenous hazard both salvage of a mining and ore processing is formulated. It is offered to fill underground cavities and in waste parts of opencasts by mixtures of slimes of dressing and rocky overburdens. The preventing of landslides of boards of opencasts is possible at the expense of migration from them of sites of storing of overburdens in caving zones of underground mining operations. The performances of strength of stowing materials are defined which consist of slimes of dressing and rocky soils
