Mastering blast-furnace smelting of ferromanganese at JSC 'NOSTA'

Blast-furnace ferromanganese smelting wasmastered at orskohalipovsky Metallurgical Plant in the last threeyears. Eleven industrial smeltings allowed to satisfy needs oforskohalipovsky Metallurgical Plant (JSC "NOSTA") completely.During mastering smelting technology different heat, slag andblowing furnace regimes were tested.Notwithstanding existing difficulties in organizingmanufacture smelting blast-furnace ferromanganese is economically profitable.
