Gas storage reservoirs

SOCAR says that it did not use all the gas accumulated in its storage reservoirs during the first quarter of this year. During Q1, it supplied 2.984 BCM of gas to consumers, 463 MCM more than planned because of the cold weather. It also took 618.6 MCM out of storage from the 1.8 BCM which had been pumped into the reservoirs in preparation for the 2009/2010 winter. SOCAR delivered 3,178.5 MCM of gas to industry, households and the "Azerenergy" electricity utility in Q1 of 2010.
