Gas for Bulgaria

Bulgaria's "Bulgartransgaz" gas transport enterprise, which is a subsidiary of the state-owned "Bulgargaz" gas company, has identified two routes along which gas can be imported from Azerbaijan. One runs through Turkey and the other through the Black Sea. The Bulgarian Government says that 50% of its annual gas requirements could be sourced from Azerbaijan and the Director of Bulgartransgaz, Ivan Drenovichki, says that imports could begin in 2013.
