Gas exports

During January- September, the Shahdeniz consortium transported 4.267 BCM of gas through the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzerum gas pipeline according to the Minister of Industry and Energy, Natig Aliev. He adds that Turkey received 3.5 BCM and Georgia 0.278 BCM, but does not say where the other 0.5 BCM went. Some of it will have been used to power the compressor stations and SOCAR's Azerigaz gas distribution enterprise will have used the rest.
