SOCAR gas agreement

SOCAR's "SOCAR Energy Georgia" subsidiary has signed a joint memorandum of intent with the "Bank of Georgia" on the joint realisation of projects by its "SOCAR Georgia Gas" enterprise. The Bank will lend up to 500 laris ($850) to each customer of the gas company for a period of one year to enable them to pay for the installation of gas meters and for their connection to the gas distribution network. During a period of three years, SOCAR Georgia Gas must connect up 150,000 new customers.
