Transit

摘要

During January-August, the transit of goods (mainly oil) across Azerbaijan amounted to 6.419 mn tons which compares with 4.302 mn t in the same period of 2009 (a rise of 49.3%) and 6.682 mn t in the whole of 2009. The big increase is due to the transit of fuel across Azerbaijan for export from Kulevi. The main transit companies were registered in Bermuda (2.319 mn t), Italy (1.199 mn), Switzerland (1.136 mn), Iran (350,700), Georgia (330,300), Tajikistan (283,500), Afghanistan (257,300), Russia (131,200), Turkmenistan (127,100) and Turkey (94,400 tons).
