The consortium working the Shahdeniz gas and condensate field in the Caspian will not take the investment decision for stage 2 of the development of the field in 2010 as was originally planned. The President of SOCAR. Rovnag Abdullaev. says that the final agreement between Azerbaijan and Turkey on the sale of gas from Stage 2. as well as the transit agieement and the agreement on the increase in the price of gas from Stage 1, will not be signed until 31st March 2011.
