Gas for Syria?

The Syrian Minister of Oil, Sufian Allaw, has visited Baku in his capacity as Joint Chairman of the Azerbaijan-Syria Cooperation Commission and has held discussions with SOCAR on the possible purchase of gas from Azerbaijan. This issue was discussed during the visit by Azerbaijan's Minister of Industry, Natig Aliev, to Syria in March 2010.
