SOCAR has installed the first block of a new four-block platform No.2585 at Neftyaniye Kamny Weighing 575 tons and with a height of 64 metres, it was built by the "Baku Plant of Deepwater Platforms" at Garadag. A two-storey accommodation block for 36 workers is under construction as well as another two blocks and a fourth block at the Baku yard belonging to "Neftegazstroi".
