Review: The ongoing support needs of people with long-term conditions following attendance at self-management programmes: a qualitative study

The paper presents a study which uses focus groups and telephone interviews to explore the experiences of people with long-term conditions who have taken part in self-management programmes and the support they received afterwards. The findings are presented as a research report which is appropriate for this type of study, and as qualitative analysis was used, results are presented as quotes from the respondents which illustrate the main themes arising from the data. The findings are relevant to all healthcare professionals who work with people with long-term conditions.
