Producers intend to stabilize prices

The growth of export prices that lasted till early May encouraged producers toraise domestic prices notably.Recovery of Russian economy based on improved sales of oil and gas andincreasing state investments urged a rise in demand for flat products. Inspring, railway car producers, passenger car producers and pipe plants increasedsteel product consumption. Construction industry also started to revive. State-financedworks under Sochi-2014 project and other infrastructure projects speed up.
