摘要

The syntheses and X-ray crystal structures of the oxidized indenyl-diphosphines, 1,3-(Ph2P=X),2C9,H-6, where X is O, S, are reported. The sulfur complex is readily deprotonated to form the corresponding 1,3-disubstituted indenide anion, which yields a crystallographically-characterized eta(5)-Mn(CO)(3) complex upon treatment with bromopentacarbonylmanganese. The relevance of these molecules to mixed-metal catalytic systems is discussed. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved. [References: 57]
