摘要

In this paper the Autoregressive Model and the Maximum Entropy Method are evaluated as an alternative to FFT based spectral analysis. The model is used to represent wind-induced accelerations in order to obtain acceleration spectra from short lengths of data. Data measured on one particular building are used in the analysis and the errors due to the selected order of the model are examined. The minimum length of data and the criterion for selecting the order of the model are given. The results are then compared with results obtained from forced vibration tests and FFT-based analysis to evaluate their accuracy.
