Development and Application of a Hot Abrasion Test Apparatus

摘要

The newly developed hot abrasion test apparatus is useful for evaluating the erosion resistance of refractory materials at high temperature. Test results are presented for 50 percent and 90 percent alumina refractories. This apparatus will be used to investigate and compare the characteristics of more refractories at high temperature.
