Knelson Gravity Solutions showcases new technology -- ConSep Acacia Reactor

Langley, Canada - Knelson Gravity Solutions (KGS) recently hosted a large contingent of industry professionals to demonstrate the ConSep Acacia Reactor CS3000 recently manufactured by Knelson for Placer Dome's Musselwhite Mine in Northwestern Ontario. Placer Dome ordered the ConSep Acacia CS3000 following extensive, and very successful, on-site pilot tests. 'Currently, overall gravity recovery at Musselwhite averages about 22 percent of total gold production. Installing the ConSep Acacia Reactor is expected to increase gravity production to 40 percent, and overall mill recovery by 0.2 percent' stated Dave Hall, Musselwhite's Metallurgical Coordinator.
