Steel Market Scenario in India is currently at an inflexion point in its history. While steel has been in use since ancient times in India with steel arrow heads dating back several millennia, fact remains that the British Governor General was quite surprised by the insistence of Indians to make steel themselves using Blast furnace route in 1907 AD.
