Report on the 4th International FESTEM Symposium on 'Recent advances in trace element research: From experiments to nutritional and clinical applications in humans' (Saint Petersburg, Russia, June 09-12th, 2010).

FESTEM organised its 4th international meeting in Saint Petersburg in June 09-12th 2010. The success of this fourth edition was due not only to the excellent organisation of the Russian Society RUSTEM (and especially the local responsible organizers Anatoly Skalny and Elena Vyatchanina) and to the choice of the beautiful city Saint Petersburg as the place of the meeting, but also to the attractive scientific program.
