Coke battery 1 A, which uses rammed batch, has gone into production at Radlin coke plant (Poland), on the basis of Giprokoks designs. Up-to-date dust-trapping methods are used for the first time within the aspi-ration systems in the coal-preparation shop and in improving dust collection within the production buildings. In 2008, coke battery 1A, which employs rammed batch, went into operation at Radlin coke plant (Poland) on the basis of Giprokoks design documentation. In 2006, two coke batteries (total coke output 620000 t/yr) operated at the plant, with the corresponding produc-tive, administrative, and repair infrastructure, as well as energy and other systems. These coke batteries went into operation in 1966 and 1970, respectively.
