Large MLLs can be challenging to treat with the most success described after repetitive surgical debridement. However, because of surgical morbidity, less invasive treatment options have been attempted. Luria et al (3) published four cases of MLLs treated with image-guided drain placement with percutaneous talc injection that resolved after 14—42 months. Penaud et al (4) described a series of five patients treated with open surgical injection of alcohol into MLLs. At 6-month follow-up imaging, all but one of these patients had complete fibrosis of their lesions.
