Clinico-pathology and therapeutic management of hepatozoonosis in dogs: Case study

摘要

The diagnosis of Hepatozoon canis was confirmed microscopically in two male dogs by demonstrating the presence of gametocytes within leucocytes in Leishman-stained peripheral blood smears. The clinical, hematological and biochemical picture of the infection are discussed.
