Giprokoks Integrated Process Control System for Coke-Oven Batteries at Severstal Company

The COKE integrated process control system installed on batteries nos. 5 and 10 at Severstal Company has: optimized heating performance; regularized coke pushing and achieved compliance with charging and pushing schedules, which are developed and monitored by the system; and stabilized the hydraulic conditions of the gas removal system (pressure in the gas header is kept within a range of + - 0.5 mm H_2O. In addition to stabilizing the overall performance, the system has improved coke quality, lowered heating costs, and cut air pollution. The COKE integrated process control system can be installed at new or existing plants, and can include all subsystems or any combination thereof.
