The argon system and associated liquid nitrogen cooling plant is composed of four 50 rrf storage tanks, one 15 nv* nitrogen phase separator, a 20 kW @ 84K nitrogen refrigerator used as primary source of cooling, 10 valve boxes and about 1,3 km interconnecting transfer-lines I have been involved in the procurement, installation, commissioning and operation of this installation and of the prior calorimeter surface test facility. This system and its qualification tests have been presented at the CEC-ICMC 2005 conference.
