Her chance of surviving nowadays would be greater if she could distinguish the latter two and know when to stop and avoid traffic compared to knowing names of animals that will never harm her. Brain capacities needed to survive as hunters and gatherers are not needed for life nowadays. According to Darwin (1859)'s theory, our species brain might slowly update to a version suited for modern time and environment.
