摘要

This article describes the use of probiotics, prebiotics and synbiotics in pig nutrition. Prebiotics, probiotics and synbiotics are defined. The beneficial effects of prebiotics, probiotics and synbiotics, particularly on the microbial balance in the gut, are discussed. However, the incosistency of research results regarding the use of probiotics and prebiotics is also presented.
