In this work, we prepared NiCoZn ferrites by using co-precipitation and we investigated theeffects of cobalt content, sintering temperature and absorber thickness on electromagnetic waveabsorption properties of sheet-type NiCoZn ferrite microwave absorbers. From an analysis of theX-ray diffraction patterns, we could see that all the particles had only a single phase spinel structure.The initial permeability of NiCoZn ferrite powder after sintering at 1250 °C was the lowest. In theMHz range, the Q factor of (Ni_(0.4)Co_(0.1) Zn_(0.5))Fe_2O_4 was higher than that for any other cobaltcontent. Also, a great reduction in absorption was evident for a 2-mm-thick NiCoZn ferrite-rubbercomposite absorber.
