In this study, we developed scintillation-fiber sensors that could measure net closes in mixed neutron-gamma. fields. The scintillation-fiber sensors were tested with Cf-252 and Co-60 sources to demonstrate, the capability to discriminate the gamma-ray dose contained in the mixed neutron-gamma field. Furthermore, we tested the scintillation-fiber sensors to measure the distributions of them ad neutrons as a function of the distance from the center of the reactor core at the Kyoto University Critical Assembly (KUCA), and the results were compared with the distribution of thermal neutrons obtained using an Au-wire activation method.
