The reactions of MN'-diglycosythiourea with 2-amino-benzothiazoles in the presence of Hg(II) (HgCl2 or HgO) for the synthesis of Af-(4/6-substituted-benzothiazol-2-yl)-Af',Af"-diglycosylguanidines have been reported.
