A microcontroller based conductivity meter has been designed and fabricated. The use of microcontroller (8031) has made the instrument compact and versatile. A 4.5 digit AID converter is used to improve the accuracy and resolution of the system. The temperature measurement is also provided in the system since the conductivity of the solution varies with temperature. The paper deals with the hardware and software features of the system.
