Design and Development of System to Send Multiple SMS using GM-862 GPS based Module

摘要

In schools and colleges, it often becomes necessary to send common message to all students. In most of the colleges all students are having mobile. It is very easy to send common message to all students using a PC and GM-862 GPS module using SMS facility of mobile technology. In the present paper a PC and GM-862 GPS module based system is programmed to send SMS to all students. The software is developed using Visual Basic 6.0 and Tailt GM-862 GPS based module is used to transmit the SMS. The AT-commands are used to accomplish the task.
