摘要

This health monitoring system is made up by a base station and several medical sensor nodes. The wireless medical sensor node located in different sites where we need to monitor patients will measure medical parameters and transmit to base station. The base station contains wireless receiver and a PC, where doctors can receive medical parameters from medical sensor node and analyze them. In hospitals or homes, fitting every patient with tiny wireless vital sign medical sensor node would allow doctors, nurses and other caregivers to continuously monitor the status of their patients at a distant on real time. In case of emergency or disaster time, the same technology would enable handling large number of casualties effectively. This paper presents measuring medical data such as Temperature, Oxygen saturation and Pulse rate of the patient and relay them over a short-range 1500m wireless network to any number of receiving devices, including laptops or ambulance-based terminals using zigbee.
