摘要

Flow from a well installed in an inundated multiple leaky aquifer system has been analyzed considering ponding as one oftlie aquifer of higher pressure. Analysis lias been per formed using Laplace transformation and modified Bessel functions. Equations for piezometric head distribution and rate of recharge in each aquifer have been developed for three constructional feasibilities of a fully penetrating well described as screen, placed either in the lower aquifer or in the upper aquifer or in both theaquifers. Sample computations have been made assuming some reasonable data in the respective solutions verifying the boundary conditions. Solutions have also been validated comparing with standard solutions.
