Design, quality aspects and short circuit co-ordination of low voltage ac contactors/starters

摘要

The performance of low voltage switchgears and controlgears - contactors/starters under short circuit condition and its design and quality aspects are presented. This paper explains the short circuit co-ordination test and conformedot conformedcriteria to meet the requirement of IS:13947-Pt.IV-1993/IEC:947-Pt.IV-1989. The methods of these requirements and major tests involved as per the standard will be addressed in depth.
