摘要

In this paper minimal cut concept has been applied for the reliability evaluation of a Jute Spinning Mill.The method has been based on basic reliability equations for evaluation of reliability in terms of failure rate and annual outage duration.The approach finally finds three reliability indices,the average outage rate,the average outage duration and the average annual outage time taking component failure rate and other reliability data into account based on the criteria that component failure ensures the system failure.A generalized computer program has been developed to determine the reliability indices.
