Synthesis of bulky, electron rich hemilabile phosphines and their application in the Suzuki coupling reaction of aryl chlorides

Novel electron rich, amine functionalished phosphines have been prepared and shown to belong to an unusual class of ligands than can activate palladium complexes to catalyse the Suzuki coupling reaction of chloroarenes.
