Crystal and molecular structures of [Ru-3(mu-H)(mu(3)-eta(1):eta(1):eta(3)-C12H17)(CO)(9)]: revision of a previous determination

The complex obtained from [Ru-3(CO)(12)] and cyclododeca-1,5,9-triene, previously identified as [Ru-3(mu-H)-(mu(3)-C12H15)(CO)(9)] from a crystal structure determination using photographic data, has now been shown to contain a mu(3)-C12H17 ligand, by a combination of diffractometer data, electrospray mass spectra and detailed H-1 and C-13 NMR spectrometry.
