摘要

In the site of a healed skin disease, the development of a second dermatosis having no association with the previous one was first denned by Wyburn-Mason in 1955. In early 1995, Wolf et al. named this condition as isotopic response. The first skin disease, in general, tends to be either herpes simplex or herpes zoster and it is viral. Although the second disease might vary, carcinoma, granuloma annulare, verruca, molluscum contagiosum or tinea are the most common ones. However, Sharma and Sharma reported two patients both of whom suffered from scrofuloderma as the primary disease and from herpes simplex as the secondary disease.
