Periorbital hyperpigmentation mimicking fixed drug eruption: a rare presentation of erythema dyschromicum perstans in a paediatric patient.

A 10-year-old, female patient presented to us with asymptomatic progressively increasing blue-grey and dark brown macules over the periorbital area, trunk, extremities and bilateral palms for the past 1(1/2) years (fig. 1). They were seen initially on the face and then spread to the extremities and trunk and had no erythe-matous borders at the time of presentation. Lesions were oval and ranged in size from 0.5 to 2 cm. History of occasional mustard oil application was,present.
